I want to know how to copy files from shared drive on my google drive account to my drive on the same google drive account?
Is this possible?
I've tried to copy files from my seedbox to my drive successfully.
But when I tried to copy files from shared drive to my drive directly, that's not work.
When I created my remote, I've chosen "True" at --drive-shared-with-me & chosen "No" for team drive
May you help me to create the remote configuration correctly?
I think the mistake is on my configuration because the command I've wrote it didn't appear the shared drive permanently.
I've wrote these commands and they didn't work.
rclone copy --drive-shared-with-me hamza:/"Al Forn - Egyptian Movie (1984) 1080p" abuelrof3:/"My Data01"
rclone copy abuelrof3:/"My Data01" --drive-shared-with-me "20 20":/"Al Forn - Egyptian Movie (1984) 1080p"
In the following image, I want to copy ( El-Horoub (1991) [DVDrip] ) from shared drive to my drive.
How can I do that?
What can I do with this problem?
Please support.
Thanks.
hello and welcome to the forum,
i am not an expert on gdrive but...
you can create two remotes,
one for the shared drive
one for the google drive.
and use this flag https://rclone.org/drive/#drive-server-side-across-configs
what do you mean that it does not work, what happens?
also, when you post, you should use the question template as it asks for basic information.
without that info it is difficult to help you.
you need to produce some debug info using flag -vv
what version of rclone are you running. run this rclone --version
Sir,
I just want from you to tell me the right configuration to copy and transfer files between shared drive & my Google drive account.
Just it.
Thanks for replying.
I've tried what you told me, but this process works only with "shared with me" not "Shared Drives".
Is there any method like this to copy from shared drive to my other google drive?
please help me as you can.
Open the Google Drive folder in your browser then press Control + a or Command + a —or drag your mouse over all of the files—to select them all. Then right-click and select Make a Copy. That will create a new copy of each of those files, right in the same folder, with Copy of before their original file name.
