Seems I'm really too late for Dropbox Advanced. Paid for a month but the only increase from my 3TB "unlimited" plan is the 1TB/month. I have a bit of under 60 TB. I don't see myself paying 54 EUR/month (if paid yearly) for 4 TB.
Can anyone confirm that for someone like me that joined in August, once the amount that is visible in the settings is full, no further storage will automatically be granted?
I was told by Dropbox that this would happen. I'd rather not pay for a VPS to transfer it from Google but take the refund for this month that I was offered by another agent. Didn't want to grant me more storage beyond the 1TB.

Dude read the thread here ... this is not a new news.

@ redux_op thx, but didn't you think Telegram would prevent this?

Intriguing. I don't have a Telegram account, but I'm tempted to create one just for trying this out.
Thanks for coding and sharing it with us!

whats the db url supposted to look like in the env file?
I used neon to make the database and it looks like postgres://username:password@xxxx.us-west-2.aws.neon.tech/neondb

but I get

panic: database/migrations directory does not exist

goroutine 9 [running]:
github.com/divyam234/teldrive/database.migrate()
	github.com/divyam234/teldrive/database/database.go:72 +0x78
github.com/divyam234/teldrive/database.InitDB.func2()
	github.com/divyam234/teldrive/database/database.go:59 +0x4c
created by github.com/divyam234/teldrive/database.InitDB in goroutine 1

when running the standalone binary

they used to at least auto increase when you reached 80-90% of your quota at these lower TB. Unsure if they also stopped that. But it is crazy they are not increasing more for new users, should at least start at 5 TB/user.

@Ganon_User Can you post on github or discord I can help there.

Luckily I got a nice chunk of space from Dropbox before they implemented their 1TiB/mo nonsense. So now, I am playing around with Box Business. But I can't seem to get better than 2.5 MiB/s UL using the rclone standard API (not through a custom app). Would creating my own app (hence subjecting myself to the API call limit) yield a faster upload, or am I missing something else here?

I've played with --transfers and whether I use 6/8/50 or the default, I'm only getting 2.5 MiB/s UL ... granted, this is only with one file to test so when I sling multiple up it will probably increase ... but this seems kind of slow to me.

I may be able to deal with such a slow upload speed, but is download speed just as terrible? Downloading at 2.5 MiB/s just won't work. Thoughts?

You will always get poor speeds with the default Userid

Have you tried the speed test on box website? Box | Login

I have 1 spot on Dropbox Business and 2 for Box Business Plus. DM me if someone wants to join. $25/mo. For my safety and your privacy, almost everything should be uploaded encrypted with rclone

Has anyone tried any of the decentralized file storage solutions that uses the blockchain? Example filecoin, sia, storj etc?

I'm interested. How much space you have?

No longer available, sorry

I’m curious what is their β€œplan” for that 1% who utilize more than 35 tb/license if their new policy is to sell 1TB for $10/month …

given market storage prices simply they are not interested about people storing more. It is clear message - pay massive premium - more than 100% over what others charge (about $4 is what I call average nowadays) - or leave. You have 100TB = 35TB in your subscription + $650 per month for extra 65TB. But $70 (3 users) for 35TB is fair price. No egress, no transactions etc.
