RClone does not leave me write or read my mount gdrive using Web GUI

hello everyone, everything was awesome in windows 10 with RClone, until I has this problem:

I was trying open a File using AutoCAD Electrical, But just leave error and in the CLI leave this:

WriteFileHandle: ReadAt: Can't read and write to file without --vfs-cache-mode >= minimal

... but that does not work, and I did not found nothing in entire internet, what should I do now?

I installed RClone and Winvsf-dev since Chocolatey.org

I think you can get this to work if you make the mount manually, rather than through the webgui

rclone mount --vfs-cache-mode writes googledrive: Q:

where googledrive is whatever you called your remote and Q: is a free drive letter or a non-existent directory.

hello again, I found an issue, everything was ok until 30 min, I was working with Autodesk Robot Structural and at same time using RClone for sync my files, ... Robot Structural stopped working and the command line wrote this:

my actual problem is than my Gdrive already do not mount in Z: or anywhere.

Z: missing is odd. I would have expected rclone to have stopped at that point but it appears to be still running.

Did you install the latest winfsp?

as test,
open two command prompts and do a dir z: /s
one prompt with admin rights.
one prompt without admin rights.

yes, I installed winfsp stable and dev versions. both works

probably this can be solved with an entire windows reset, but I do know want waste my time, 2 tb is too hard to solve and same problem could return.

I tried with 2 google drive accound and the webUI can explore in both.

please help.

I tried rclone mount with admin and normal user privilegies, both have same result, or what did you mean?

I just forget mention than before this problem, rclone command line was dropping a lot of errors message about "IO error" with Autodesk Robot and than there was a checksum error "asdosadk vs asdk293" or something like that.

I could chage the entire powershell historial if someone tell me how to get it.

... too I was closing or canceling using ctrl+C with powershell, I not sure if this is the correct way to shut down rclone.

yes, before this problems I used:

rclone mount --vfs-cache-mode minimal gdrive:\ z: -v

and everything was working perfectly, similar to google drive sync descktop app.

how do you know for sure, that you have run rclone, both as admin and normal user privileges?

have you tried to run rclone command as system user?

What I did was first run powershell directly and run powershell with "Run as Administrator", but this problem both was working perfectly...

... but something than I was ignoring is the constant "checksum" and "error IO" message in the powershell windows, autodesk software write constantly to files and probably this is a reason. I am not sure if this is a google drive problem or if was my mistake to cancel everytime with ctrl+C.

what is the average size of these autocad files?
what is the total size of all these autocad files?

can be 100 MB when you are finishing a big project. but I the moment that I was working just was 3 MB max, 1.5 for the main file and 1.5 for their bak (backup) file, the size exactly here:

my gdrive have 10GB, but I was working with AutoCAD Electrical before Autodesk Robot, with AutoCAD Electrical I finished my work and that manage multiple files at same time, was awesome than RClone was working good, but similar to Robot, when I was working the command line was dropping multiple error IO and checksum message, I was working but scary, anyway I took the risk, just failed with Robot.

for a such small files sizes and small amount of total files, why not keep the files local and sync/backup to cloud as needed.
