And in Plex, you emptied trash/rescanned library and if you check that particular file by checking the Get Info, the size and everything matches up?
If you want to see if the cache is the issue, you can just rclone mount gdrive: instead of the cache mount. All the defaults would be fine to use.
I am not able to see the info on that file since it’s “unavailable” in plex. Here is the error I get when trying to mount gdrive:

Have you emptied the trash in Plex and rescanned? You’ve ruled out rclone as you can see the file and the size looks right on both the cached version and non cached version.
Are you using your own API/client ID as that helps with rate limiting 403s.
I am assuming those errors aren’t important when I tried to mount my gdrive: ?
Yes I have my own API
Yes I have emptied the trash which was successful and rescanned the file always comes back but it’s unavailable every time. Also note that I have to remove the file from plex to get it to go away, simply emptying the trash does nothing.
In Plex, empty trash is supposed to remove any Unavailable files. If the file is unavailable and you empty trash, it stays there?
What does a “ls -al” of the file look like?
Can you run a mediainfo on it from the command line?

This is very strange I am not able to do a change directory to the folder path, but I am able to for other folders.
Here is the path I used
/Users/Hoopie/gcache/Movies/Le Samouraï 1967/
Which returns:
-bash: /Users/Hoopie/gcache/Movies/Le: No such file or directory
If I do an LS on just the below path I can see the directory listed
/Users/Hoopie/gcache/Movies
Yeah, but if you can’t change into from the command line, neither can plex.
You should try to rename it and remove the odd char.
This whole time I couldn’t see the strange character… thank you so much for helping me.
Any other tips for getting my plex setup with cache to run any better now that we are here?

My mount command I personally use is just the VFS standard backend with some explanations on my settings and why I use them:
