I’m 55 yo. My IRC bouncer is connected to ~50 IRC channels. I wont use Slack only for rClone. Too bad there is no IRC…

For those that do want to use IRC. Go ahead and sign up to slack join the rclone team then go to: https://rclone.slack.com/account/gateways . It will then give you IRC connection information to use.

https://get.slack.help/hc/en-us/articles/201727913-Connect-to-Slack-over-IRC-and-XMPP here’s the instructions, it’s a pretty simple feature. I run / maintain a couple slack rooms and both have IRC enabled so those with simple IRC clients can connect easily.
