I just created a new account at amazon.fr, created a new ACD and immediately got a 429 error just trying to create a directory. This certainly sounds like a problem on their end.
This is getting pretty ridiculous. I would at least expect an update on service status somewhere on their end (though the AWS status page doesn’t seem to include ACD).
I have only used ACD to upload so far, and have literally only tested streaming once for 5 minutes. I doubt they’re targeting Plex users
Got the same problem with Hyper Backup on my Synology NAS. Since 3 AM all backup tasks failed while backupping to ACD. I’ve chatted half an hour ago with the German Amazon Cloud Drive support and they said there is no known issue at the moment, the error must be on my site of the line… I think they got a small communication problem beside the real ACD problems.
I don’t know, but what I know is that the issues are taking a long time now… And it’s a shame that customer support tells us that there is no issue on there end. Do they even have monitoring on there ACD cluster
Can rclone use the drive from local and work readonly encrypted instead amazon Direcly?
I might have temporary solution to get at least read only but it involves other software to mount it
not with google unlimted drive XD long time building the content up but worth backing up a few times got 2 google backups not to mention almost 30 of it at home. and then acd too kinda sad its failing but not gonna stop me XD i just swap mounts and call it good no rebuild of plex or anything
guess best advice i can give people backup your shit then no crying when something fails
i got mine free as i was a student at one point then so what my friend so got her account to XD might talk to a few more of my friends from school see if they wanna part with their gmails .edu’s
but i think 2 is good for now.
the unlimited is more for Business…
but you can find them on ebay but be careful and upload to them at your own risk know that data is only so secure with clouds like that
