Windows Config file changing to Linux

I’m in the process of running a backup to ACD, but would like to rent a server for a couple of months to help the process. I’ve already uploaded 4TBs so starting over would be a pretty big pain in the butt. I know we can use a different config file, but I’m only seeing the rclone.1 file in Windows, and I’m not sure where to put it on the Linux install?

I’ve looked over the FAQs about this topic, but didn’t find anything for this issue. Any help would be much appreciated.

have you checked C:\users\yourname\.rclone.conf
when you find it, put it to your user’s home directory

I found it in the directory you said it’d be in. So on the Linux machine I put the config file in the users home directory correct?

Yes. You can put it wherever you want, but if it’s in the user’s home dir, you don’t have to specify it when you run the rclone copy command.
