Vfs caching (not beta) delay uploading of files

So I have stopped using the old cache, and switched to the vfs cache, but I am not using the beta.

I don't have a problem that I require help, but I do have a question.

With the vfs cache is it possible to delay uploads?

On Windows copying from local storage to a Google Drive mount using only vfs cache takes a very long time (but I did test it with a massive 600GB move, as a good test). I'm unsure if that's related to the files being uploaded instantly.

There's really not much point to use the old cache as it's being replaced. It's better to use the beta.
