Two box.com/config/authorize related questions

It’s probably obvious from documentation but I couldn’t figure it out

Is there a way to make authorize behave more like config in terms of writing the token to the config file directly?

I understand authorize is meant for headless machine but what’s the equivalent for a machine with a browser?

also, I know this has been discussed in passing - are the client ID/client secret used in any way? Since I know the option was added to reference on the command line.

Thanks

Just answer Yes to Use auto config? is for a machine with a browser.

You can get your own client_id/client_secret from box if you want to use your own credentials.
