Sync stuck (local source to OneDrive Business destination)

What is the problem you are having with rclone?

I installed rclone first time this morning, and since then I can't make the sync command to work properly. It gets stuck almost immediatly, a problem which seems to be encountered often from what I've seen in this forum, so I tried adding the --s3-disable-checksum flag, but that didn't solve the problem unfortunately.
From the --vv it seems it is stuck at "checking".

My System Monitor tells me no traffic is going while its stuck, so it's not that it's a big file or something and that I have to wait.

What is your rclone version (output from rclone version)

rclone v1.53.2

  • go version: go1.15.3

Which OS you are using and how many bits (eg Windows 7, 64 bit)

Which cloud storage system are you using? (eg Google Drive)

Yeah I should have been more precise:

I tried without --s3-disable-checksum, of course, and then I read an extremely long and boring conversation with lots of text and copy/paste about someone who had a similar problem, and I just noticed somewhere in it that this flag was used and solved the problem. So I tried too, but it didn't work (and now I know why)

You ran rclone with the -i option which means it will be waiting for you to answer this question.

If you want rclone to proceed but not do anything you can use --dry-run instead of -i - when happy remove the --dry-run.

Argh, so simple! Thanks for the answer, it works indeed perfectly now that I removed the -i option. Did I misread something or it's impossible to use sync with -i option?

No it will work fine, you just need to answer the questions! Unfortunately -P and -i don't work together very well as -P continually writes stuff on the screen, and -vv writes debug as well which obscures the question.

Maybe I should warn the user about -i with -P or -vv - what do you think?
