Hi does rclone’s azure blob storage support backing up to archive blob storage (cheapest cold storage service as far as I know)? Since Azure blob storage container cannot default blobs to the Archive tier, the clients must explicitly set the tier for the uploaded blobs to Archive after the uploads. However, I don’t see rclone’s doc mentioning this, so I assume it is not supported?
Unless it is something you can configure in the Microsoft console then rclone doesn’t support it yet. It sounds like rclone should support it though!
You could make a new issue on github or even send a pull request 
Thanks. I opened an issue here. Hope someone can pick this work up. I’m not a Go dev. I might be able to pick it up when I get a chance, but time frame cannot be guaranteed
