Hi All,

Wanting to us rclone for its powerful filtering/exclusion filters to create archives of my important data to USB drives.

Is there anyway to make rclone aware of the target drive capacity? For example, 10TB data set onto 3 x 4TB USB drives. As each drive fills, rclone job pauses until the next disk is inserted/mounted and then continues? Listing the contents of that remote wouldn't be possible, unless written to a local file I guess.

Appreciate any assistance :+1:

No such functionality exist but if you connect all drives at the same time you can try experimenting with rclone union overlay but for local disks I would rather use mergerfs.

You should also look at proper NAS solution like creating ZFS pool from all drives etc.
