My OS is Debian 12 (bookworm). Using it's repos, they install a RClone with no support for Proton Drive. I've got rclone 1.67 installed and would like a graphic UI for the front end. When I tried to install the gui from the Debian repos, it wanted to uninstall my 1.67 for 1.50 (or thereabouts). Can I have both 1.67 cli and gui? How do I do that? Thank you for reading this far.
the repo is out of date. do not use it.
The distributed versions of rclone are often quite out of date
yes, just follow the docs.
rclone rcd --rc-web-gui -vv
Mr. Monkey: (again): right, I've got the web-based gui on-screen and I'm studying how it operates. I made a new rclone remote. Is the mount point to be (or not to be? -- sorry I can't help it when I'm talking with a MONKey. Yikes I guit.) To be?
/home/source remote:remoteproton
we monkeys use the command line, as our god commanded.
can use whatever values you want.
