Small question - plex backward seeking performance

Hi,

So I have a union mount in full vfs cache on a ssd, where writing is done on g drive directly.
It's working really well, isp bandwidth being the only throttle.

I noticed that seeking backward by a small time in plex is very much slower than seeking forward for the same amount.

Plex buffers the stream which explains the better performance when seeking within that buffer.

But I also noticed the seeking backward by a single remote touch is usually faster when the file is stored locally, compared to my mount.

What would be the cause for that ? Isn't the played file cached locally by rclone ?

Just curious if there is something I am missing.
