Rename before upload, rename on download (file exstension manipulation)

Hello,

Please tell me if it's possible to use RCLONE for case usage as below:

  1. Copy myfile.deb to mounted drive, before that file needs to be auto renamed from .deb to .openfile.
  2. On remote drive storage, will be seen uploaded file like: myfile.openfile
  3. On my second machine, i will see mounted renamed files again to: myfile.deb (auto-renamed with script again)

I would like to use 2 VPS machines for that + Dropbox provider.

It's possible to achive that?

Rclone mount supports renaming things on most providers so I think that would work provided you've got a script or two to do the copying and renaming.
