Remount after update?

Hi there!
I have a question about whether I have to remount an already mounted cloud storage (ACD and Gdrive in my instance) after doing an update?
I ask because I found out that the mount would still be there after updating and it made me wonder whether it is affected by the changes introduced in the latest versions.
Also, does it matter what method I used to install rclone?
I am using latest rclone 1.33-DEV installed from source with go.

It will continue to use the old version of rclone unless you unmount and remount.

Also, does it matter what method I used to install rclone?
