⚡️ Rclone UI — V3 — Slim but mighty

This project just what I needed, for a noob terminal user like me can never had any chance to use rclone. Also once you configure your mounts you can easily mount and sync. So kudos to the author

Hi there! Thanks for all your effort and sharing the codes. This project is exactly what I was looking for … so do mind if I ask for another lifetime code as well? Thanks in advance!

André

Sure guys, just send a DM here on the forum!

Unfortunatelly as a new user i’m not allowed to send dm’s. So i would really appreciate if you could send me a dm.

I just discovered Rclone UI today and im really loving it so far. Specially as casual user that can’t remember any command for Rclone after 3 months of not using it.

It’s a really cool project and i would love to get a code.

Hello, I tried giving rcloneUI a try but it just crashes immediately. I am on Fedora 42, the screencap below should have all the info you need. I downloaded rclone from Flathub via Bazaar.

I would suggest trying the AppImage version to determine if its flatpak-specific or a broader problem.

Get the “legacy” build first and go up from there

Thank you for suggesting that, it did not crash and is up and running on my desktop.

If you don’t mind, I would like a code too. Thank you.

edit: Legacy works fine, the Alternate appimage however will not start. If I can send a log or something to help you diagnose this, I will be happy to do so.

Just sent lifetime codes to everyone who requested one, have fun!

Hi, I already given this project Star :star: on github because it’s great app, can I ask for lifetime code?

I was looking for screenshots of the additional paid features of the app, but I didn’t see any online (website, github, here).

Can I ask for a promotion code as well? I’m happy to purchase later if it meets my needs. Just starred you on github.

(I looked for a DM capability on this site, but couldn’t find one.)

Starred you! Love your app so far. Will mention to my colleagues if they ever start their rclone adventures.

The last half of this thread seems to be just people begging for lifetime code and nothing constructive otherwise, none of which is even remotely related to rclone.

Perhaps this should be locked and moved to a github discussion in the respective repository instead of keeping it in the rclone forums?

Gentle ping to @rclone-ui for the same.

@darthShadow valid concerns. This is meant strictly for forums users, not for everyone on Github. Just to clarify that part.

If you create an account or post on the thread only to get a code, you will not receive one.

Send a DM instead, this is valid for everyone (new or existing users).

This is in effect as of now, with no exceptions.

If you're a new user and cannot send DMs yet, just browse the forum for a day or two, read some threads (maybe search for a question you had?), press  on a few replies you find interesting, and then you'll be able to send me a DM and request a code.

You will not be able to send DMs faster if you post.

Respect everyone's work here, be thoughtful, and do not clog the thread with replies.

Thank you, we all want this space to remain clean and enjoyable!

Someone said V3?

Toolbar?

Managing docker and remote rclone servers?

...and the biggest feature yet — Light Mode

These are just a few of the 10+ features and enhancements introduced in Rclone UI's third major release.

A big heartfelt thank you to everyone in this thread curious & open minded enough to give it a chance, your trust has been paramount. (no really, you're trusting someone with your most precious files. that's a courageous thing to do, and not for the faint of heart)

This kind of curiosity and willingness to support experiments keeps the ecosystem healthy and pushes development forward across the board. What we’re sharing here at the end of the day is really just an invitation (a transparent quid pro quo): your job is to show us where it shines and where it breaks.

(At the risk of sounding like a broken record, there's obviously no UI without rclone, none of this would be possible without Nick's work over the past 14 years. As well as everyone's relentless work here on the forum, and of course the nerdy & hardcore contributors. I'm surely still missing a good number people here)

Dear RcloneUI,

Please consider redesigning the license information screen to improve user experience and ensure data security. Specifically:

  • Hide or mask part of the license key (only show the beginning or the end).
  • Show the user's email address instead of the license key in the user interface.
  • Hide pricing or purchase details when the user already owns a valid license.

The goal is to make the interface cleaner and easier to understand while still providing enough verification information for licensed users.

Thanks you!
