Hi, sorry if already asked but couldn't find an answer.
Trying to understand Rclone sync so we can calibrate the new lifecycle policy they offer.

The question:
With Rclone sync, it detects any local files which are missing and it automatically delete those missing files from the B2 Bucket or does it simply sets a hidden flag for those files? (which is basically a "newer" 0kb hidden version of a file)?

hi,

  • rclone will delete the file
  • B2 will keep a hidden copy, if you have enabled B2 versioning.
