Rclone mount + torrents?

Hello,

I’m having an issue with rclone mount and downloading torrents into it.

I know rtorrent doesnt work with rclone mount so I’ve been trying deluge, but I keep getting an error in deluge. I’m testing with a small ~200MB torrent and sometimes when downloading deluge will abort the download and just say “Error” in the progress bar.

Is there any way to fix this? Alternatively if anyone has gotten rtorrent to work in rclone mount please let me know how.

Seeing as how rclone mount does not provide random write access I don’t see how downloading torrents into the mount would ever work.

Try downloading the torrent to local storage and then have the client move the completed torrent to the mount to seed from.
