that is an many years old, custom compiled dev version from an out of date linux repository

try rclone selfupdate. if that does not work, then

  1. uninstall that old version
  2. https://rclone.org/install/#script-installation
  3. test again

Hi,

I'm completely exhausted. I've been trying all day. I started from scratch, installed Ubuntu, and downloaded rclone version 1.7.5. I added my rclone mount. Plex can see the folder but not its contents. It says unable to load contents.

Without knowing your actual mount command you are using, it's really impossible to tell you what's wrong.

Did you check the permissions on the linux directories ? Is Sonarr/Radarr/Plex all running as the same user?

Right. You are hitting Linux permission issues. Are you running it all as 'shaun' or things as different users? Your home directly only allows 'shaun' to read and write things.

To be honest I'm not sure. I only setup one user when installed Ubuntu. How would is fix this?

I thought I would give Linux a go but I'm regretting it now :rofl:

There isn't a correct way as it all depends on what you want to do.

Some use 1 user and consolidate. Some user multiple.

Could probably chatgpt or your AI of choice and get some suggestions and ideas on how to lay things out.
