I'm currently using a rclone cache folder to upload stuff to gdrive via sonarr/radarr. Sonarr and Radarr point to gcache as their root folder and the files are automatically moved there and uploaded to my drive. The thing is, the files uploaded this way are uploaded and stored as .mkv.partial~
.
If I add --exclude *.partial~
to the mount command for the cache folder, will it solve this? Will the files be uploaded as "simple" mkv files, without that partial~ at the end?
No as that isn't how Sonarr/Radarr work.
They write a .partial~ and move it after the write is complete. There really isn't anything to do as on the 'other' side, it will be blah.mkv.
Ah ok, so it's sonarr/radarr that create the partial and not rclone. Thanks!
Yep, that's correct.
