Rclone as Computer on Proton Drive instead of syncing to My Files

Hi there

I am trying to backup a large library of files on my proton drive from my server. I do not wish to sync these files to another computer, hence, I am hesitating to sync/copy it into my regular Proton Drive.

Instead, I'd prefer to have a new entry under Computers (My Computer), where the files are synced to. How would I achieve this, does anybody know? I think, like this it is not automatically synced to my other machines but rather figures as a backup of the rclone.

Proton Drive - How do you mount the 'Computers' category?

What is the problem you are having with rclone? In addition to 'My Files', the Proton Drive web inteface has a device - backup category called 'Computers': [image] When mounting proton drive via rclone mount NAME: /path/to/Proton/ --vfs-cache-mode full the 'My Files category is mounted successfully, but I have not been able to find documentation on where mounting 'Computers' is possible or how to do it. Thanks. In any case in the above scenario I would expect rclone to create a new entry in the "my computer" secition and back it up there. Do you know if this is possible?

should not expect anything.
afiak, protondrive support is experimental, has been abandoned, has bugs not getting fixed.
the author of the protondrive backend has not logged into the forum for almost a year
