Rclone and backup to Amazon Glacier - howto?

Hi,

I'm trying to make backup of my HDD to Amazon Glacier but see instruction only for S3. Is there any instruction for the Glacier? Thanks in advance!

welcome to the forum,

yes, rclone makes it easy.
simply change the storage class to DEEP_ARCHIVE
and upload a file.

and to confirm the file was uploaded using the correct storage class

rclone lsf --format=pT aws01:en.keepass/zip/backup --include=keepass.20190209.200338.7z
keepass.20190209.200338.7z;DEEP_ARCHIVE

I must remember to change this too as I only use AWS for Glacier.

For now, I am uploading to default S3 but have life cycle rule to move to Deep Glacier after 1 day.
