Possible to set a password for the rclone config file without using rclone config?

I'm using a script and can't use the interactive config menu.
Is it possible to add a password to the config file and encrypt rclone.conf without using the rclone config menu?

I don't think it is at the moment. Probably rclone could do with another command rclone config encrypt or something like that.

Can you please make a new issue on github about that. Is it something you'd like to work on?
