Plex Emby Jellyfin Updating Library

So I am mainly running Emby and Plex but I download Jellyfin as well for testing purpose. I am on Window 10 and I am using --vfs-case-insensitive --vfs-cache-mode full --write-back-cache --vfs-write-back 10s --vfs-cache-max-age 90m --vfs-cache-max-size 5000M --vfs-cache-poll-interval 60s --cache-dir c:\temps crypt: T: to mount to my google drive.

Everything is working except library updating automatically. I have to manual scan each time if I want to update the media. The media is updating on my mount though. All three media servers are not updating.

I did some research and seen some other folks are having the same issue but never got a clear answer on how to fix it. I thought maybe it suppose to be like that due to the way it’s mapping in windows.

Any help will do. Thanks

You can't.

You have to trigger a scan when you add media.

Ok thanks. Just trying to make sure I didnt setup something wrong.

Plex/Emby work through inotify and that is generally for local file systems and most/majority of fuse based file systems don't support it.
