just now, i got an email from owncube.
"All services will continue to run until February 17th, when they will be stopped and all servers in the data center will be deleted."
so that is just ten days notice!
I did a bit of research on them earlier, and they seemed a bit shady, and unreliable. Sad how short of a time they gave you to get out.

i agree. once i setup an account, but never used it beyond that.
