The error occurs on a specific Onedrive account, in a Family subscription, on all files. Nothing can be synced.
The last working sync shows the folders in English. But now the online folders are translated to local language. E.g. the Pictures folder is in local language and all files in this folder are gone on Onedrive (fortunately not lost on my host). I suspect this can be triggered by the installation of a new laptop in local language by the user of the Onedrive account.
The problem is that I can no longer sync the Onedrive acccount to the host with rclone. While everything works fine for the other accounts in the subscription.
All symptoms and logs are the same as the previously reported issue.
Any suggestions apart from contacting Microsoft support?
Microsoft have been making lots of changes to OneDrive personal to bring it more into line with the enterprise version (e.g. same backend based on Sharepoint). This has been causing a few problems (e.g. timestamp resolution).
Even with 1.69 I've been seeing the occasional authn issue with long-running syncs; I think the access token is expiring in the middle of a multi-part transfer causing a failure, but the token refresh works and the sync completes on try 2. So I'm not worried (I even did a full cryptcheck and everything was OK), just annoyed when I see it in my logs
Thanks for the explanation. I am currently trying to get MS support to look into this, but so far I only get links to support pages with information. Actually years of photos are gone!!! Because of a folder name change by MS?
Does anyone know what kind of upgrades MS is actually doing and what type of changes? I would like to push back to them.
