No Empty Folders on remote

hi,
I transfer files to an SFTP using by "copy --max-age 3d". If there is nothing to transfer through the filter, rclone creates empty folders, which I don't want.

Unfortunately I couldn't find a flag for it. Do you have an idea?

welcome to the forum,

this is a known bug/issue that broke backwards compatibility, and was introduced in latest stable rclone.
the beta has the fix and the next stable version of rclone will have the fix.

for now, can try --no-update-dir-modtime
or as i do, continue to use the last stable v1.65.2. i decided to skip v1.66.0
