New folder in internet archive

I'm trying to copy a folder from my computer to the internet archive, to a new directory within the archive, but I don't know why it's not creating the new folder. If I copy it into a folder that already exists, it works, but the command doesn't work to create a new folder.

rclone copy "E:\backup" "remote:backup" -vv

that is an error response from IA, rclone is simply logging it.

Can you tell me what the correct command would be to copy the E:\backup folder from my computer to the Internet Archive?

there is no folder in that path.

the correct syntax is remote:bucket/folder
