Need clarification on the storj native backend and S3 Gateway

What is the problem you are having with rclone?

Need clarification on the storj native backend and S3 Gateway.
In the doc it is mentioned for 1GB upload using native backend it would more than 2times bandwidth. Are we speaking about the bandwidth with Storj account or the bandwidth of ISP provider or my home network. Got the query since i could see the bandwidth of Storj account is getting consumed soon.

Run the command 'rclone version' and share the full output of the command.

rclone v1.58.1

  • os/version: ubuntu 22.04 (64 bit)
  • os/kernel: 5.15.0-1011-oracle (aarch64)
  • os/type: linux
  • os/arch: arm64
  • go/version: go1.17.9
  • go/linking: static
  • go/tags: none

Which cloud storage system are you using? (eg Google Drive)

Storj

The command you were trying to run (eg rclone copy /tmp remote:tmp)

rclone move

The rclone config contents with secrets removed.

type = tardigrade
access_grant =

A log from the command with the -vv flag

Paste log here

It is your home ISP network bandwidth that is the problem.

It doesn't use any more space at Storj.
