Mount scaleway s3 not working in windows 11

What is the problem you are having with rclone?

not able to mount scaleway s3 in windows , as after i run the command the drive is not showing like nothing happend.

but when i use GitHub - kapitainsky/RcloneBrowser: Simple cross platform GUI for rclone. Supports macOS, GNU/Linux, BSD family and Windows. and from the GUI i can mount the drive
but i wan't to use rclone cli only

What do you see if you try listing your buckets like this:

rclone lsd scaleway:

What do you see if you try listing the content of a bucket like this:

rclone lsf scaleway:somebucket

Perfect, what if your try mounting your bucket like this:

rclone mount scaleway:mystorage001 E: -vv --network-mode

and then in another terminal do dir E:\

now working fine i think the bucket is required here and that was the missing part ,
since my original command was rclone mount scaleway: E: -vv --network-mode without the bucket name mystorage001

thanks for your help , i think if this already added to the Docs might help , but i am not sure that this is the case will all S3 providers or just for scaleway.

Great, I remember having seen it somewhere, but can't find it now - perhaps it was in a post like this.

I may be able to give you a few tuning tips, if you tell a bit about what you are using the mount for.

i use it as a backup for important files in My PC

Thanks, then I think the defaults are fine, at least as a staring point.

If navigation in Explorer is slow/unresponsive, then try adding --buffer-size=0

i have restarted the PC and the mount is not working anymore

Perhaps your E: drive is already in use (e.g. by another terminal running the same command).

What do you see if you do dir E:\

i am not sure what colud be the issue , but i have restarted and now working.

it seems that Mount and unmount is not working proberly
