What is the problem you are having with rclone?

I wood like to copy al lot of files from an old to an new NAS with RClone FTP. i set up both NAS an Remote with FTP connection

It is possible to switch rclone copy or sync from "Modification time" to "file size"?

you are running an old version of rclone, should update using rclone selfupdate

fwiw, most NAS support SFTP, which can support modtime and file verification using checksums.
looks like you are using synology NAS, which supports SFTP.

have you searched the forum, as that is mentioned a number of times?

i have not used ftp in over a decade, as most NAS supports sftp/smb

the filenames might be too long,
so might try --inplace

fshttp.timeoutConn
might be an issue with the ftp sever timing out

no, but rclone works fine in docker.
