[MacOS] Display "mount" on Finder like normal volume

What is the problem you are having with rclone?

For cleaner look, i want to display a mount on Finder like the native Google Drive Application is doing.

I would mount Google Photos so i have easier access to them. It is working slowly but this is fine since the cache is working good enough and files aren't changing a lot.

To add a custom mount volume image would be nice too. Apple uses .VolumeIcon.icns which has multiple version of an icon in it.

Run the command 'rclone version' and share the full output of the command.

rclone v1.57.0
- os/version: darwin 10.13.6 (64 bit)
- os/kernel: 17.7.0 (x86_64)
- os/type: darwin
- os/arch: amd64
- go/version: go1.17.2
- go/linking: dynamic
- go/tags: cmount

Which cloud storage system are you using? (eg Google Drive)

Google Photos

Are you asking how to change the icon or suggesting a method to change the icon as I'm having a tough time understanding?

OK. My bad.

There are two things.
I want the mount to appear as a drive just like in Windows.
Is there a specific area, where i have to mount it on MacOS to appear as a volume in Finder?
If i mount, i can't see it in the Devices Tab, but i can access it just like how it should if i navigate to the mount point.

The second questions was about the icon.

Thanks!

You'd run a rclone mount command with your remote just like in Windows.
