Another rclone question.

While creating local remote can we define custom path for each local remote eg D:\mybackups\ or long network path.

Would be very helpful to create multiple local remotes this way

I see, so a root parameter for the local remote.

We’ve discussed having a root parameter for all remotes which is trickier…

Can you see if you can find any relevant issues?

What I wish is something like this.

[Localbackup]
type = local
remote = c:\backup\folder\dir1\dir2\dir3\dir4\

So I don’t need to type out long dir paths specially good for network shared paths.

Seems simple enough! Please make a new issue on github with that in and I’ll see what we can do!

This feature sounds like it could be solved with #1049 or #1014.
I’m going to write in #1049, as i think it fits better to this use case as #1014.
