Hello All!
I've been on the hunt for the lowest cost possible storage - I don't personally have any preference between having to mount via rclone or setting up an SMB/NFS so I do not bias one way or the other when adding to my list.
Currently I use a mix of a rented dedicated server from netdynamics24 ($1.51/TB) and 50TB Uloz plan ($0.32/TB) for a total of around 130TB for a total cost of $125/month.
The local storage is fantastic and has been fast (for my needs) and reliable for a little over a year.
Uloz is mounted with rclone and works fine but I do not expect it to last as many others have noted. They've also recently doubled their prices so new cost is $0.64/TB).
I'm interested in adding new options to my list, focusing specifically on lowest possible monthly price per TB without it being unreliable or poor service in some other way. Ideally in the $0.75 to $1.50 range. High performance is not necessary - I would personally put an arbitrary minimum requirement of 200Mbps in/out minimum.
All prices listed are in USD per Month
BTW as an aside - others have said their Uloz experience has been bad because transfer speeds are low but that has not been my experience - I can easily max out my 1Gbps upload and download to/from Uloz with just 4 threads. They seem to max out at about 25MB/s but I can do 4x25MB/s.
