Issues following network mount points

What is the problem you are having with rclone?

System works perfectly on Linux Ubuntu with local drives but when following a network mount point cifs not NFS it looks like it is working no errors but no transfer occurs

What is your rclone version (output from rclone version)

Latest version apologises not on front of machine

Which OS you are using and how many bits (eg Windows 7, 64 bit)

Linux Ubuntu

Which cloud storage system are you using? (eg Google Drive)

S3 bucket

The command you were trying to run (eg rclone copy /tmp remote:tmp)

Using the GUI works fine local but not with mounted drive

Paste command here

The rclone config contents with secrets removed.

Paste config here

A log from the command with the -vv flag

Paste log here

Apologies for late night bad post!

Command was

rclone rcd --rc-web-gui --rc-addr=10.0.18.172:5572 --rc-serve --rc-user=admin --rc-pass=password

As a bit of a newbie not sure how to get logs from the GUI ? config is super basic, wondered if there is a command to follow network mount points?

I can't figure out what you are trying to do.

The command you have runs a web gui and with a remote control daemon.

You'd use https://10.0.18.172:5572 to connect to it.

What is 'follow network mount points'?

Are you to copy or sync something?

hi there so the copy is occuring via the GUi which works fine with a local drive, but if i have a cifs network mount local to the machine that runs rclone it no longer copies the file via the gui but local disk works fine, was wondering if there is a setting for following the network mount?

otherwise it all works amazingly well!

No idea as there are no logs, screenshots, configuration or anything to help you figure out what's going on other than sharing it does not work.

If you want to share some more information on settings, screenshots, that would be great.
