So, I'd like to save a public gdrive directory to my gdrive, but the directory is too large say, 13TB. I'd like to know if I can use rclone to save it to my drive without keeping my pc running while performing this task.
if you want rclone to copy files, rclone has to be running.
if you run rclone on your local comptuer, then your local computer has to be running.
one workaround is to use a free/cheap google compute virutal machine or a seedbox and run rclone on that.
might try to use https://rclone.org/drive/#drive-server-side-across-configs
