Could we please improve Compress by adding deduplication?
it would be really helpful to save space.
This would be effectively completely new remote - IMO this is complex thing moving rclone into backup software category. Not sure there is any reason to do it given that there are many such tools already available e.g. restic.
Rclone should not try to provide any functionality imaginable but focus on its core features.
