I haven't tested this myself, but I'm interested in confirming whether Rclone offers a two-way backup and restore feature. In other words, does it support restoring backups from the destination backup service?
rclone is not a backup software. It is utility you can use to transfer files to/from various cloud storages.
And yes you can use it for backup purposes but beyond managing files transfers all other backup aspects are not rclone scope.
