How to change log format to json?

The log format of rclone is a custom format. I can't find any config setting to change the output format to json. Is it possible to do that?

What is your rclone version (output from rclone version)

v1.48.0

There isn't a json log format at the moment. There are some issue about it though. This is probably the best one. Fancy helping out with this?
