How should I calculate the prince of the instance

Hi guys,

I would like to know how I can calculate the price that the instance in which I will use Rclone will have.
At the moment I need to copy 1.5 TB of data from Azure Blob Storage to S3 but I don't know if I will need to pay for the transfer data and for this amount of data what kind of instance is recommended to use.

hello and welcome to the forum,

in general:

  • ingress - there is no cost
  • egress - sometimes there is a cost but it depends on the access tier and other details.

each provider has a webpage where you can calculate the costs.

In my case I'm using an instance on AWS.

as i mentioned, there is no fees charged for ingress to aws s3
