Hello,
i've tried to mount google photo on my ubuntu server.
It seems it is mounted ok.
Then i made a photo library in my plex but scan doesn't find any picture.
I'm afraid it is a problem with permission, but i don't know how to solve
my mount command is
rclone -v mount --allow-other foto: /media/foto
Can anyone help me?
If you take one file, can you share the output of:
ls -al
You should be able to add --umask 000 or something if you want to open up permissions depending on how you feel on your server.
My server is only used by me so I don't care if permissions are a bit more broad.

Here is the uotput:
ls -la PSX_20190424_181927.jpg
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 apr 24 17:28 PSX_20190424_181927.jpg
What does this do?
--umask 000
From that output, Plex should be able to see the file and read it.
This is a good little picture type tutorial on Linux permissions as they are a bit confusing at first.
https://www.guru99.com/file-permissions.html
Umask 000 makes a directory or file fully read / write for everyone:
[felix@gemini ~]$ ls -al test
-rw-rw-r-- 1 felix felix 0 Sep 19 09:55 test
[felix@gemini ~]$ umask 000
[felix@gemini ~]$ rm test
[felix@gemini ~]$ touch test
[felix@gemini ~]$ ls -al test
-rw-rw-rw- 1 felix felix 0 Sep 19 09:55 test
Since cloud storage has no concept of Linux permissions, you can set them via the mount command so the proper read/write/execute is on every directory / file. You can't modify them per se since so the umask sets them on the mount.

It seems that plex can watch inside foto dir.
I see it scans all dir, but doesn't find any picture.
This is strange?
Is it supposed this mount is working as gdrive one, so that plex can manage it?
I see this in plex during scanning, but no files found.

Plex doesn't know/care if it's a GDrive or not. It's just a mounted file system to Plex.
It finds no pictures I guess cause they are 0 bytes. If you check the output you shared.

Yes, you are right, but why?
So it is not right mounted?
What do you suggest?

I'd assume you need this for a mount:

I think this is what i was missing.
I'm just trying with --gphotos-read-size
Let's hope it is not too slow.
I've got thousands of pitcures.
