With AWS, I'm just getting started. In order to download answer data (in XML) from a certain SOAP API and save it to S3, I am creating an AWS Glue script.
Do I need to set up a VPC with a subnet, private/public IP address, etc. on AWS for the Glue task to function, that is, to connect to the SOAP API and retrieve data? I performed a lot of internet research, but I couldn't come up with a definitive response. If AWS VPC is necessary for the Glue job to run, kindly recommend a site that will assist me in configuring it on AWS.
