Gdrive+Cache+Encrypt = Terrible Lag/Buffer with Plex

Run the mount with -vv or debug --log-level DEBUG and share the log when you playback.

Lots of information in the logs... I captured a chunk of it while it happened to buffer here:

To preface this, it's run ALOT better today I think because I'm running it during the day and not at night perhaps when the internet is saturated? In any case it did still buffer a few times.

Need the whole log. Bits and pieces don't help.

The file is pretty big but here it is:

https://mega.nz/#!tiJijKBS!GTwSReGi7mgVzRico2BIDJZcr4OprWzS9RXOj7r72Jk

That helps. From the rclone side, you look pretty good.

I can see it opens the file normally and the chunk size slowly increases along the way without closing the file out.

It doesn't seem to be related to rclone from the logs.

What player?
Are there any subs?
Can you tell if it's Direct Playing/Streaming or Transcoding?

Plex web player in this instance, but it happens even with the crappy Samsung Plex app as well. No subs, and this is direct play.

Hard wired clients or Wifi? Would guess it would be something more local rather than Plex itself.

Samsung TV app is hardwired. Web app was wireless. I think its local as well, just not sure where to start with the troubleshooting.

The other weird thing though, is once it hits that first initial buffer point... if you stop and even resume from that spot it will continue to buffer. However, if you start all over from the beginning... the behavior goes right back to buffering ahead properly.

More weirdness... switching to direct streaming brings it back to buffering normally again. Its like it gets hung up at some point and just stalls.
