The reason we ask for the information is to for a few things:
We can't recreate it without a config as we don't know what you've got setup
We ask for a log file so when we spend our time to recreate your issue, we can see if we can get the same results and it's repeatable
It's like walking into the doctor's office and stating you are sick and telling the doctor to figure it out. If you use the resources we have and fill in the items, people end up volunteering to help your fix your issue on their own time. It's much easier than fighting with the person trying to help you.
