File referenced but missing?

What is the problem you are having with rclone?

Encrypted file appeared in Rclone Browser and Rclone mount, but when I try to copy it, it says "directory not found".

When I go and refresh the mount or Rclone Browser, it is gone. I have not moved it. My mount is read-only. I am a single user.

Is this intended behaviour when a file's reference cannot be found? I am worried that I might have other similar files that are somehow dereferenced...

What is your rclone version (output from rclone version)

1.52.2

Which OS you are using and how many bits (eg Windows 7, 64 bit)

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

Which cloud storage system are you using? (eg Google Drive)

Google Drive

The command you were trying to run (eg rclone copy /tmp remote:tmp)

rclone copy gcrypt:directory/file.mkv ~/

The rclone config contents with secrets removed.

Your rclone.conf does not seem to match your command as the remote names are different.

What does rclone ls gcrypt:directory show?

my redaction was inconsistent, sorry.

rclone ls gcrypt:directory works normally. showing all the files and directories, but not that one file. no errors.

I just uploaded that one file to the same location again and it is fine. I uploaded it originally 4 months ago, but did not notice it was not working correctly until today when I looked for it specifically.

Really weird behaviour that makes me wonder what else could be missing.
