"File not found at Destination" uploading to s3

Hello!

What is the problem you are having with rclone?

I have a problem since last week. I installed rclone to pass some files from my server to my S3 bucket. But, after configure and run the command, in the log always see "Failed to copy: Forbidden: Forbidden"

What is your rclone version (output from `rclone version`)

rclone v1.53.3

os/arch: linux/amd64

Ubuntu 18.04 LTS (server)

I modified the rclone config to puc the access key and secret key without "" and now the error has changed...

First: If I do a rclone lsd amazons3:bucketname I have a list of the buckets. Right because before I can't do it.

I changed the bucket to point to public bucket of my S3 server and created a key/secret only for this bucket. Well, now the message has changed, now the log tolds me that “InvalidArgument”.

I run the command with -vv argument to see the detail and the error is “File not found at Destination”. Strange…

can you post the config file for that, redact id/passwords?
make sure the region and location constraint are correct for the bucket.

Are you running with a user with limited permissions?

If so, if you run with -vv --dump responses you'll see what additional permissions you need to give the user.

No, I use the user root, doing sudo -i when enter in Terminal.

Hey!! Now works!!

The problem was in the bucket-acl of the config file. If puts public-read (without quotes), now the process and the HTTP responses is 200 OK.

That is what I meant by "Are you running with a user with limited permissions?" but I think I didn't make myself clear enough - sorry!
