so on macOS i'm not using Homebrew to install rclone, because it lacks (fuse)mount support. Therefor i've installed the binary instead.
It seems rclone does not have a feature to automatically check / report that a new version is available. So, this way you risk running an old version and not updating;
- Would it not make sense to implement this feature, and automatically report when a user is running an old version, after X days?
(I'm aware of checking this manually via rclone selfupdate --check, but that's cumbersome of course... especially on multiple machines.)
