What is the problem you are having with rclone?

While syncing (same with copying) several files to a Mega remote, some files fail to sync/copy. I have tried the same files with a different remote (eg pcloud) without any problems.

After initialization, a chunk fails to upload 10 times (with each retry taking about a second), then a few seconds later another chunk fails the same way, until the file upload Error after "10 low level retries" (output truncated after the beginning of the 2/10 low level retries.

The same thing happens with other file types (eg .pdf) and in a total of 19.651 files, 234 fail in this specific way.

In the command/output given I have selected just one of those files for simplicity.

Run the command 'rclone version' and share the full output of the command.

You have a pretty old version. You'd want to update and re-test.

Upgrading was in the TODO list but alas, was forgotten while testing..

Installed version 1.62.2 (i386) with the same result.

This looks like both the go-mega library and rclone are doing retries which is unfortunate, and that none of them are working!

Hmm, 32 bit. How big is the file you are transferring? Over 4GB maybe? No I see it is likely 47MB.

I don't know why the POST should be returning EOF error unless the chunk is empty maybe. Are you going via some sort of proxy?

I tried uploading through the browser and it's ok. I'll be able to try megacmd (from the same environment) on Monday.

Yes, the connection goes through proxy (squid).

Now that you mentioned it, I'll take a look (on Monday) at the proxy logs to see if there is something interesting there.

Although, passing some chunks and failing others is a little bit odd.. we'll see.

The files that fail to upload with 'rclone' also fail with 'mega-cmd' and after several tests while examining the proxy logs I came to the conclusion that this is a squid/proxy problem, as I see the same messages mentioned in these posts:

which seems to be site specific (that explains why I don't see these errors/timeouts with the other remote (pcloud).
