Entry doesn't belong in directory - ignoring

Trying to set up a sync with an FTP directory (containing hard linked files) with gdrive. Some files sync but it seems the hardlinked folders error out. When I run the rclone command I get:

ERROR : ../var/www/website: Entry doesn't belong in directory "" (contains subdir) - ignoring

Currently running Rclone 1.38 which I saw fixed this issue on Dropbox, is there any plans to fix it on FTP?

If you can reproduce this with the latest beta then please make a new issue on github with a full log with -vv - thanks. Also include details of the FTP server.
